Switzerland's FC Basel have signed FC Lugano's top scorer Julio Hernan Rossi.

FC Basel, the Swiss first division leaders, have signed FC Lugano's top scorer Julio Hernan Rossi for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract.

Argentinian duo
The 25-year-old Argentinian will join his compatriot, Christian Gimenez, who also moved from Lugano to Basel as the club attempt to cement their place in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round for next season. Rossi scored 51 goals for Lugano over a four-year period since joining the club in 1998.
