FC Spartak Moscow have yet to concede a goal in 2002 after winning 2-0 on Saturday.

FC Spartak Moscow have yet to concede a Russian Premier-Liga goal in 2002 after winning 2-0 against Krylya Sovetov Samara - a scoreline that was repeated in the day's other three games.

Ten-man Spartak triumph
Despite being reduced to ten men at the Metallurg stadium in Samara after the dismissal of Yuri Kovtun for a second bookable offence, Spartak were too strong for Krylya. Following a goalless first period, Dmitri Sychev broke the deadlock in the 58th minute before Egor Titov added a second eight minutes later.

Victory for Shinnik
Newly promoted FC Shinnik Yaroslavl moved off the foot of the table with their first points of the season after seeing off FC Alania Vladikavkaz 2-0. Dmitri Khomukha put the hosts in front after 32 minutes before Alexei Gerasimenko added the crucial second goal a minute into the second half.

Rostselmash triumph
FC Rostselmash Rostov-Na-Donu also ran out 2-0 winners at home to top-flight newcomers Uralan Elista, with a 25th-minute goal from Adamu Baba and a second from Arturas Fomenko on 71 minutes earning them victory.

2-0 for Lokomotiv, too
In an eerie coincidence, FC Lokomotiv Moscow also won 2-0 against FC Saturn Ramonskoye to move level on points with Spartak at the top of the table. Marat Izmailov nicked the first after 29 minutes and Narvik Sirkhaev netted with 17 minutes remaining.
