FK Obilic strengthened their hold on third place in the Prva Savezna Liga after a 2-1 home victory over the ten men of FK Zemun.
Milijas off
The hosts took the lead in the 23rd minute when Sasa Simonovic collected a lay-off from Bojan Filipovic and lashed the ball into the net. The visitors were then reduced to ten men twelve minutes later when Milan Milijas picked up a second yellow card. Obilic sealed their victory eight minutes afterwards when Filipovic converted a penalty.
Stankovic consolation
Obilic failed to add to their lead after the break but the night's work had already been done. Slaven Stankovic did get a goal for Zemun in the 54th minute, but their man disadvantage meant a draw was always beyond them.
