Crvena Zvezda had the better of a scrappy game and took the lead through Leo Lerinc on the stroke of half-time. Mihailo Pjanovic doubled the lead after 76 minutes, but the visitors were forced to endure a nervy final nine minutes, after Bosko Kovrlija pulled a goal back for Apatin. The victory lifts Crvena Zvezda to within two points of leaders FK Partizan.
