PFC CSKA Sofia drew 1-1 with PFC Slavia Sofia on Saturday, while PFC Levski Sofia ground out a win.
Honours shared in Sofia
Second-placed CSKA had to come from behind against their mid-table local rivals at the Slavia stadium. The home side took the lead through Velimir Ivanovich after 17 minutes, but Vladimir Manchev levelled for title-chasing CSKA 15 minutes later.
Levski triumphant
Levski took the opportunity to extend their A PFG lead to seven points with a 3-2 win at home against PFC Belasitsa, but their opponents put up a mighty struggle at Gueorgui Asparuhov stadium.
Added-time winner
It took a goal from Gueorgui Chilikov in added time to give the visitors all three points after the visitors twice cancelled out the home side's advantage and they will feel hard done by that Martin Deyanov's second goal of the game after 88 minutes was not enough to earn them a 2-2 draw.
Plovdiv go fourth
PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv took advantage of PFC Litex Lovech and PFC Neftochimik playing on Sunday to move up to fourth place with a 2-1 win away against basement dwelling PFC Beroe with goals from Ekundayo Jayeoba and Rosen Petrov setting up an unassailable first-half lead.
Cherno More denied
Elsewhere, struggling PFC Cherno More were denied three crucial points in their home match against Lokomotiv Sofia as Lokomotiv's Doncho Donev equalised six minutes from time to cancel out Stilyan Popchev's fifth-minute opener.
Marek win away
In other matches, PFC Chernomorets Burgas defeated PFC Spartak Varna 2-1 at home while sixth-placed PFC Spartak Pleven lost ground on the leaders after suffering a 1-0 home reverse against PFC Marek.
