TSG 1899 Hoffenheim defender Matthias Jaissle has been ruled out for up to six months after tearing cruciate ligaments in his left knee during the Bundesliga club's 2-2 draw with Hannover 96 on Saturday.
Double blow
The 20-year-old, who has featured in all but three of Hoffenheim's 25 league games this term, was replaced ten minutes after the restart by Fabrício. The setback is a further blow to a Hoffenheim squad without a league win in seven matches and who, after 16 minutes, lost defender Andreas Ibertsberger to a right knee ligament injury which will keep him out of Austria's FIFA World Cup qualifier against Romania on 1 April.
