Since 2019, Adnan Džemidžić has been general secretary of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he previously headed up the licensing (2014–2017) and legal & administrative (2017–2018) departments.

He holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Sarajevo and has passed the bar examination. He completed the UEFA Football Law Programme (FLP II) and UEFA CFM (certificate of advanced studies in football management).

He joined the Appeals Body in 2019.
