Serie A leaders Juventus have signed Marco Borriello on loan from AS Roma until the end of the season and have the option to make the move permanent in the summer.
The 29-year-old scored eleven goals for Roma while on loan from AC Milan last season but after joining the Giallorossi permanently last summer he has struggled to win a regular role under new coach Luis Enrique, starting only two league games.
Capped seven times by Italy, Borriello joins a Juventus side who are still unbeaten in Serie A and level with his former club Milan on 34 points at the head of the standings. The Turin team would pay €8m for his services should they decide to take up their permanent option at the end of the campaign.
