Radchenko signing
Dnipro went into the winter break second in the table - three points behind leaders FC Shakhtar Donetsk - and through to the Ukraine Cup semi-final. To boost their challenge for silverware, they have signed experienced FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Olexandr Radchenko, who has two caps for Ukraine, while bringing back Under-19 international striker Vitaliy Nesin from a loan period.
On trial
Coach Evhen Kucherevskiy has also brought some foreign talent into the club for the first time with a view to permanent signings. Slovenian international Damir Pekic from NK Maribor, Bosnia-Herzegovina Under-21 forward Izudin Salamovic from FK Svoboda Tuzla, and FC Kuban's Moldovan forward Aleksandr Popovic and Russian midfield player Emil Tsatskin are all currently on trial with the club at their training camp in the Turkish city of Antalya.
