Former England Under-21 captain Sean Davis has signed for Tottenham Hotspur FC on a four-year deal.

The 24-year-old has left Fulham FC for a fee of around €4.5m, after opting against extending his current contract, which had 12 months to run. He began his career at Fulham in 1996 aged 17.
'New challenge'
Davis, who was called into England’s senior squad in February 2003 but did not play in the friendly against Australia, told Tottenham's official website: "I am just excited now and looking forward to the new challenge. You know when something comes along that is right for you and it came into my head that I wanted to join."
