Bernd Storck took the chance to look at a number of players in his provisional squad for UEFA EURO 2016 in Friday's friendly against the Ivory Coast.

In general, they did not disappoint. Ádám Szalai was particularly busy up front while Ádám Gyurcsó, László Kleinheisler and Ádám Nagy all put in encouraging first-half performances. Chances to break the deadlock were not taken, though, with Gyurcsó and Szalai particularly profligate.

The Ivory Coast switched systems in the second half, changing from a 4-3-3 to a 4-5-1, and Hungary found them much harder to break down thereafter. It was nevertheless a positive evening for the hosts as they step up their preparations for a first EURO in 44 years. Their next and final friendly is against Germany on 4 June.

Hungary: Király (Gulácsi 46), Lang, Kádár, Juhász, Fiola; Pintér, Nagy (Böde 70); Dzsudzsák (Vida 89), Kleinheisler (Gera 46), Gyurcsó (Nikolic 64); Szalai (Sallai 79).
