Europe's most dangerous marksmen this season

Robert Lewandowski has scored ten goals in his last three games in all competitions, and is one of only nine players who have accumulated more goals than their teams have played league matches this season.*

1.43: Robert Lewandowski (Bayern München – GER)
Lewandowski has featured in just six of Bayern's seven Bundesliga fixtures yet has scored ten times – including an unforgettable five-goal haul against Wolfsburg. The leading marksman in UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying is thus the top man in Europe's domestic leagues too.

1.33: Andy Waterworth (Linfield – NIR)
The only forward on our list to have hit more than one hat-trick this term – his four-timer against Warrenpoint was a notable high – the 29-year-old gives his team-mates the credit for him registering 12 goals in nine outings: "They make the chances, I'm the one that gets into the box to put them away."

1.33: Alex Teixeira (Shakhtar – UKR)
Netting seven in his last four league games – including three penalties – has sent the Brazilian forward surging up our list, onto the exact same figures as Waterworth. If last season was his most productive for the Pitmen with 17 goals, he is on target to pass that milestone before the winter break.

1.29: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Dortmund – GER)
The French-born Gabon international is a man to be feared this term, as the only striker on our leaderboard to have notched in all of his side's league matches this campaign – that, to be precise, is nine goals spread across seven appearances.

1.25: Feran Hasani (Shkëndija – MKD)
Back with his first club after several years abroad at Wolfsburg and Brøndby, the Macedonian international is in the form of his life, with his free-kick – the first of three goals – in the recent 4-2 away win against capital giants Rabotnicki a career highlight. His current strike rate is ten in eight.

1.17: Jonas (Benfica – POR)
Player of the 2014/15 Portuguese Liga season, his first campaign after leaving Valencia, the Brazilian attacker continues to hit the heights, though oddly the 31-year-old's seven goals in Benfica's six games this term have all come at home.

1.12:  Omar Er Rafik (Differdange – LUX)
With a master's degree in sports science, Er Rafik's studies have clearly paid off this season. He has plundered 12 goals in 12 matches in all competitions – nine in eight Luxembourger league outings and three more in European competition.

1.12:  Julien Jahier (Racing Union – LUX)
After injury ruined his spell at Dudelange, the Frenchman – and part-time fireman – joined promoted Racing Union in the summer with "nothing to prove". So far, the 34-year-old has thrived, with nine strikes from eight top-flight cameos.

1.10: Dániel Böde (Ferencváros – HUN)
The 1.95m-tall forward failed to find the target in the Green Eagles' first league encounter of term, yet has since more than made amends, scoring in eight consecutive appearances between the second and ninth rounds. Which amounts to 11 in ten games.
