Armand Duka has been unanimously re-elected as president of the Football Association of Albania (FshF) for the next four years. It will be his fourth term of office after first being elected in 2002.
"Thank you to all who believe in me and my work. I will continue to work hard with all of you to help Albanian football move forward," said Mr Duka during his presentation speech to the general assembly.
Mr Duka, 51, said improvements to infrastructures and the reconstruction of the Ruzhdi Bizhuta Stadium in Tirana are among the main goals of his new presidency, as well as the reconstruction of the national team training complex at Kamez.
"We will continue to work very closely with the government to help improve the game in all directions," he emphasised. The Albanian government has also pledged to help the domestic game by including football in school programmes for youngsters.
