Germany and the Netherlands have received the respective UEFA Respect Fair Play trophies for their conduct at last season's UEFA European Under-19 and U17 Championship final tournaments.
The chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee, Jim Boyce, presented the trophies to the winning captains Niklas Stark (Germany) and Keziah Veendorp (Netherlands) at the 2014/15 elite round and 2015/16 qualifying round draw ceremonies at the House of European Football in Nyon.
The team fair play rankings were based on the sides' conduct during all matches at the UEFA European U19 Championship finals in Hungary in July – which Germany won – and the UEFA European U17 Championship in Malta in May, where the Netherlands reached the final. Stark and Veendorp then helped to make the draws.
"It's a great honour to be here on behalf of the German Football Association to make the draw and accept the [Fair Play] trophy," Stark told UEFA.com. "I have many great memories of the finals in Hungary, I had a lot of good experiences."
Veendorp added: "I think it's a nice prize to win, and we as Dutch are proud of it. It's a great experience to be here and be on the stage [to receive the prize]."
