Juventus and Italian football are mourning former player Gianfranco Leoncini, who has died at the age of 79.
Leoncini, a left-back who could also play in midfield, won the Scudetto three times with the Bianconeri during a 12-year spell in which he scored 21 goals in 289 Serie A games. He also lifted the Coppa Italia three times with Juventus.
Capped twice by Italy, Leoncini retired in 1974 after playing with Mantova and Atalanta and had a brief stint as coach with the Bergamo side in 1976.
