UEFA has received declarations of interest from 17 member associations to host one of the UEFA national team youth final tournaments in 2021 and 2022, which include the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship, UEFA European Under-17 Championship, and the UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship.
The bidding procedure for the selection of the national associations to host these final tournaments was launched on 11 January 2019, with a 28 February deadline set for countries to express their interest in hosting the competition.
The 17 associations who have expressed an interest in hosting one or several of these tournaments are (in alphabetical order):
• Albania
• Belarus
• Belgium
• Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Cyprus
• Czech Republic
• Denmark
• Faroe Islands
• Germany
• Hungary
• Israel
• Norway
• Portugal
• Romania
• Russia
• Slovakia
• Spain & Andorra
The declaration of interest made by the bidders is not binding, and the final proposal must be delivered with the bid dossier by 28 June 2019 at the latest.
The UEFA Executive Committee will select the successful host associations on 24 September 2019.
