Former Czech Republic international František Rajtoral has died at the age of 31.
Rajtoral won 14 caps for the Czech national side, including two at UEFA EURO 2012. He spent the majority of his club career with Viktoria Plzeň, winning four league titles and the Czech Cup, before moving to Turkey to join Gaziantepspor last summer.
The Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) confirmed the news in a statement, adding: "[The FAČR] would like to express its deepest condolences to all his relatives."
Plzeň general manager Adolf Šádek said: "Nothing will heal the pain that has hit all our family at Viktoria. Any goals, points and titles seem insignificant. We are all deeply saddened by the death of a great Viktoria player, great man and friend. The only words coming to my mind now are: 'Thank you Rajty for everything. We will never forget you.'"
