Ilco Gjorgjioski has been re-elected as the president of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) for a third term.
Gjorgjioski was unanimously confirmed in office, and will serve until 2021. He was first elected FFM president in July 2012 after a distinguished career as a player in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and abroad, and as a coach, winning domestic senior titles with Makedonija GP Skopje and Vardar in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
A strategic development plan is in place for the country’s football until 2026. “Our task and responsibility is to make a maximum contribution to the improvement of Macedonian football,” said Gjorgjioski, “and to be proud of the senior national team, national youth teams, clubs, coaches and referees, and try to ensure a bright future for the Macedonian game.”
