Seilda Bayshakov has been elected as the new Football Federation of Kazakhstan (KFF) president for a four-year term.
The former Kairat player and coach succeeds Yerlan Kozhagapanov, who stepped down in October. Bayshakov took the position on a temporary basis, but has now been confirmed in office until 28 November 2020.
"I sincerely appreciate your faith," said Bayshakov after the election. "For my part, I will make every effort to bring about the comprehensive development of football in our country. I am confident that we will be able to achieve serious objectives and reach new heights."
