Sweden, Belgium, Iceland, Scotland qualify

The last UEFA Women's EURO 2017 qualifying group stage games are played on Tuesday with four berths to be decided and two more teams going into October's play-offs.

Sweden, Belgium, Iceland and Scotland have joined the seven teams previously confirmed of places in the Netherlands over the last week, We explains who needs what to book qualification regardless of results in other groups.

Qualified: Netherlands (hosts), Germany (holders), Belgium (debut), England, France, Iceland, Norway, Scotland (debut) Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
Confirmed at least play-off: Romania, Denmark, Russia, Italy, Austria
Can still qualify: Finland, Portugal

• The last qualifying group stage games are on Tuesday.
• The eight group winners and six best runners-up (not counting results against fifth-placed teams) will join hosts the Netherlands in the final tournament from 16 July–6 August 2017.
• The other two runners-up will play off over two legs from 17–25 October for the remaining berth in the expanded 16-team finals (after a draw, on 23 September, to determine who is at home in which leg).

Group 1
Iceland and Scotland qualified on Friday, confirmed as at least one of the best runners-up after Finland lost to Portugal in Group 2. Iceland, yet to drop a point of concede a goal, need only avoid a four-goal defeat at home to Scotland on Tuesday to win the group.

Group 2
Spain have qualified, winning the group by beating Montenegro 13-0 on Thursday. The next day Portugal came back from two down to beat Finland 3-2 and move to within three points of second place. With Portugal having a better head-to-head, they would finish second and earn at least a debut play-off if they win in the Republic of Ireland and Finland lose in Spain on Tuesday. Points for Finland could well mean automatic qualification and if Portugal win, they might reach the finals without a play-off if Romania and Russia lose.

Group 3
France, already qualified, drew 1-1 with Brazil in a friendly on Friday and then face Albania in their last group match on Tuesday, the first games under under their new coach Olivier Echouafni. Romania have clinched at least a first-ever play-off thanks to a 2-1 victory against Ukraine on Thursday. Romania welcome Greece on Tuesday hoping a win could give them a chance of automatic qualification.

Group 4
Sweden, fresh from claiming Olympic silver, clinched their finals place on Thursday by beating Slovakia 2-1 to win the group with seven perfect wins. Fellow 2013 semi-finalists Denmark will finish second and know a point against Sweden next Tuesday would definitely mean avoiding the play-offs (they can afford to lose if two of Finland, Russia and Romania fail to win).

Group 5
Holders and Olympic gold-medallists Germany have qualified without dropping a point or conceding a goal and won 4-0 in Russia on Friday their first outing under new coach Steffi Jones. Russia, confirmed in second, must get something against Croatia on Tuesday to have a chance of qualifying automatically.

Group 6
Switzerland have qualified for the first time and on Friday Italy secured second place with a 3-0 win in Northern Ireland, who were eliminated along with the Czech Republic. Italy will qualify by beating the Czech Republic on Tuesday or if any two of Russia, Finland and Romania fail to win.

Group 7
England had qualified before these fixtures and Belgium have earned a debut finals after beating Serbia 3-1 on Thursday and seeing Finland lose on Friday. Belgium will overtake England with a win when the unbeaten duo play on Tuesday.

Group 8
Two-time champions Norway have qualified as group winners and Austria will finish second. Austria will qualify for the first time with a drawi in Wales next Tuesday or if any two of Finland, Romania or Russia fail to win.
