037 - Media Accreditation Deadline set for 7 September midday
The 12th Extraordinary UEFA Congress will take place on Wednesday 14 September 2016 at the Grand Resort Lagonissi Hotel in Athens, Greece. The event will start at 10.00 local time and will be followed by a press conference at the same location.
The main items on the agenda for the 12th Extraordinary UEFA Congress include:
• Election of UEFA’s additional female member on the FIFA Council
• Election of the UEFA President
Media wishing to attend the Congress and the press conference must apply by filling in the application form under the following link http://uefa.to/2b0Umcl before Wednesday 7 September at 12.00CET.
A certain number of seats in the Congress hall will be available for media representatives, who will be able to attend the whole session. Photographers and TV crew will only be allowed to shoot and film the opening speeches and the press conference. A media working area equipped with WiFi will be available next to the Congress hall. The Congress will be streamed live on UEFA.org.
Following the Congress, the UEFA Executive Committee will meet on Thursday 15 September at the Astir Palace Resort in Athens. There are no media activities planned following this event, however, photographers and TV crews will have access shortly before the meeting starts.
