UEFA has announced the names of the three nominees shortlisted for the 2015/16 UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe Award, organised in conjunction with the European Sports Media (ESM) group.

A jury composed of 20 journalists committed to supporting women’s football has selected the shortlist of three players. The same jury will then cast their votes in the final round to determine the outright winner, who will be announced during the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Monaco on 25 August.

The three players who received the most points overall from the second round of voting, in alphabetical order, are: Ada Hegerberg (NOR – Olympique Lyonnais), Amandine Henry (FRA – Olympique Lyonnais/Portland Thorns FC), Dzsenifer Marozsán (GER – 1. FFC Frankfurt/Olympique Lyonnais).

The results for the players voted into positions four to ten can be accessed here.
