Zlatan Ibrahimović is to leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires on 30 June, the club has announced.

Ibrahimović, 34, has won the Ligue 1 title in all four seasons he has spent at Paris and will attempt to complete a second straight domestic treble in his last scheduled game for the club – the French Cup final against Marseille is on 21 May. The club's all-time top scorer is set to make his last Parc des Princes appearance for Paris on Saturday, in their Ligue 1 closer against Nantes.

"Paris Saint-Germain are forever deeply grateful to Zlatan for the amazing four years that made him the greatest striker and one of the very best player in the club's history," said a Paris statement. "Ibra will have widely contributed to transforming Paris Saint-Germain into one of the biggest clubs in Europe."

Ibrahimović added: "I am very proud of the last four years. I loved every day I spent here. Paris Saint-Germain have become a STAR club in the world and I have played a key role in moving them forward. It is now the right time for me to take a different path."
