Dutch Cup joy for Feyenoord
Feyenoord have won their 12th Dutch Cup after edging Utrecht 2-1 in their own stadium to clinch a spot in next season's UEFA Europa League group stage. The Rotterdam side went ahead close to the break when Michiel Kramer headed in from a Dirk Kuyt cross and they responded to Ramon Leeuwin's leveller via Eljero Elia, whose 75th-minute effort crept in off Utrecht goalkeeper Sven van Beek.

The victory brought Giovanni van Bronckhorst silverware in his first season as Feyenoord coach, and meant a first trophy for the club since their Dutch Cup triumph in 2007/08. "Everyone here has waited for this for so long," said Kuyt. "It's indescribable. It may not be the prize the club is really longing for, but we've now made a start – we'll win more trophies after this."

Tbilisi back on top in Georgia
Dinamo Tbilisi are celebrating their 16th Georgian championship after winning 3-1 at Kolkheti to leave themselves 13 points clear of second-placed Samtredia with four games remaining. Club top scorer Giorgi Kvilitaia was on target along with Jambul Jigauri and Rene Santos as Dinamo regained the title they lost to Dila Gori last term.

"We have a cup final ahead of us, so we've just completed one half of our journey," said 38-year-old captain Aleksandre Iashvili, back at the club this term after leaving in 1997. "We'll begin our real celebrations after we win the double." Dinamo have one foot in the knockout showpiece after beating Chikhura Sachkhere 3-0 in the first leg of the semi-finals.

Crusaders defend Northern Irish title
Crusaders have won back-to-back league titles in Northern Ireland for the first time in the Belfast club's 118-year history, confirming their successful defence with a 1-0 win against Coleraine on Saturday. Manager Stephen Baxter, who marked 11 years in charge of the Seaview club in February, praised his players for showing the "character of champions" to hold off the challenge of nearest rivals Linfield.

The 50-year-old, who won two titles with the Crues as a player in 1995 and 1997, said: "When you are champions, everyone wants to beat you, but the players showed their mettle and stood up to the challenge. Good players win league titles and these boys deserve to retain it. They have worked so hard since last summer and deserve to celebrate special moments like this."

The Maltese title has been decided with a game to go after second-placed Hibernians lost 2-1 at Birkirkara on Sunday – a result which ensured Valletta will finish first whatever happens when the top two meet in the last round next weekend. Valletta prevailed 2-1 at Balzan on Saturday to go four points clear, and they were spared any final-day drama when their rivals were unable to respond in kind. The capital club have now won the championship 23 times.

Santa Coloma crowned in Andorra
A spot in UEFA Champions League qualifying awaits Santa Coloma after Richard Imbernón's side claimed their third consecutive Andorran title – and the club's tenth overall – with a 0-0 draw against Lusitans on Sunday 17 April. FCSC wrapped up the championship with two games to spare and after a run of 11 league games without conceding, having lost just one game.

"We put a lot of stock in this title because our rivals know us better year after year, and we've achieved a higher total than in the last two title wins," said Imbernón. "This season we introduced slight tactical changes like playing with more open wings to favour the inside game, as well as adding new players who helped us get this new title with such spectacular figures."
