Article body
There were two big goals for FC Vaduz this season and they achieved them both. A 43rd Liechtensteiner Cup victory was fairly regulation; preserving Swiss Super League status was rather more difficult, but that too was secured with a match to spare.
Cup final: FC Vaduz 5-0 FC Triesenberg
Triesenberg reached their first final, meaning all seven clubs in Liechtenstein have now appeared in the decider, yet there was no denying Vaduz. Giorgio Contini's charges were 3-0 up inside 29 minutes after goals from Nico Abegglen, Philipp Muntwiler and Pascal Schürpf. Steven Lang and Mario Sara completed the win in front of a crowd of 919 at the Sportpark Eschen-Mauren.
