Jakabfi and Marozsán on Hungarian progress

Hungarian football will use the occasion of their domestic women's cup final to showcase female participation in the sport.

Ahead of the showpiece match tonight, UEFA.com heard from Hungary international Zsanett Jakabfi – a UEFA Women's Champions League winner with VfL Wolfsburg – and Budapest-born Dzsenifer Marozsán about the positive impact that football has had on their lives.

Zsanett Jakabfi on getting involved in football:
"My father played football when I was a child; I always went to see him play and I liked it. And another memory is that a friend of my father's, when watching him, said how well he played – and that phrase stuck in my head, and became like a guideline for me. How nice it would feel if my daughter, for example, said: 'Look how well my mum plays football.' So that was real motivation for me."

Dzsenifer Marozsán on opportunities for women in football:
"Back when I was younger, I didn't know that girls' football existed. I played on the streets with friends. But since then a lot of things have become accessible. I think it's great, and you can see that it's becoming more and more important."
