UEFA President Michel Platini has sent a message of support to the French Football Federation (FFF) in the wake of the events that occurred in Paris last week.
In a letter to the FFF president, Noël Le Graët, Mr Platini said: "On behalf of the extensive European football family, I wish to express our sadness and solidarity with the sportsmen and women in France, as well as with the French people, who have been cruelly affected in what they hold most dear – the universal values of human rights, which were expressed in France more than two centuries ago. Today, those values can be summed up with the phrase: At UEFA, We are all Charlie."
