Sporting Clube de Portugal have made 23-year-old right-back André Geraldes their fourth summer signing.
A Portuguese Under-21 international, André Geraldes arrives in the capital from İstanbul BB SK, though he spent the second part of last season on loan at CF Os Belenenses. He has signed a five-year deal at Sporting, with a buy-out clause of €45m inserted into his contract.
André Geraldes made 12 appearances for Belenenses in 2013/14. He started his career at local side FC Maia and was registered with Liga side Rio Ave FC from 2010-12, spending the bulk of that time on loan at lower league sides GD Chaves and CD Aves prior to heading to Turkey.
Sporting will play in the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League stage after finishing second in the Portuguese top flight, seven points behind champions SL Benfica.
