Fiorentina swoop for Steaua keeper Tătărușanu

ACF Fiorentina have confirmed the signing of Romanian international goalkeeper Ciprian Tătărușanu on a free transfer from FC Steaua Bucureşti.

Details of contract the contract have not been disclosed but the 28-year-old, who ended his five-season stay at Steaua with back-to-back league titles, is ready for the challenge. "I can't wait," he said. "I always wanted to play for Fiorentina because they are an ambitious club. They are a team that like to play football and they have great fans. The city is also wonderful, the cradle of Italian art." Fiorentina finished fourth in Serie A last term.
