Iceland coach Siggi Eyjólfsson has named a familiar squad for UEFA Women's EURO 2013.

Having lost all three games on their finals debut in Finland four years ago, Eyjólfsson has named 13 of that selection again in his 23 to play in Sweden, including most-capped international Katrín Jónsdóttir and top scorer Margrét Lára Vidarsdóttir. Among those set for a first taste of UEFA European Women's Championship action is uncapped defender Anna Björk Kristjánsdóttir.

"I concentrated on choosing the best players. Nine from the previous tournament have not made the cut but there remains a lot of experience, which is always important," said Eyjólfsson

Beaten in six of their seven friendly fixtures this year, Iceland travel to Kalmar on 8 July and three days later start their Group B campaign there against Norway. Germany and the Netherlands complete their group opponents.
