Giorgio Crescentini has been re-elected president of the San Marino Football Federation (FSGC) for an eighth successive four-year term.
Representatives of the 16 member clubs and a delegation from the referees' association were involved in Monday's meeting at the Casa del Calcio, during which the FSGC's nine-man board of directors was also chosen. Crescentini, who first joined the association board in 1977, served as vice-president from 1982 before taking the top job three years later.
"During the next four years we want to strengthen all sectors of the federation," the 62-year-old said. "We are satisfied with what we have done until now but football is evolving fast and we have to keep up. We have a series of plans to adapt the Stadio di Serravalle to international standards. We will also try to develop all sorts of activities in order to continue our growth."
