Juventus lost further momentum in pursuit of the Serie A title after drawing 1-1 at Parma FC, while second-placed S.S. Lazio recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory against Atalanta BC.

The Bianconeri looked set for all three points when Andrea Pirlo's fierce free-kick deflected in off Jonathan Biabiany. They were pegged back 13 minutes from time, however, as substitute Nicola Sansone took receipt of Gabriel Paletta's intelligent pass and finished unerringly.

Lazio took full advantage at home to Atalanta, meanwhile, courtesy of Sergio Floccari's second-half strike and an own goal from Davide Brivio. The visitors lost Carlos Carmona to a second yellow card with seven minutes remaining.

SSC Napoli are two points back in third after dispatching US Città di Palermo 3-0, while Udinese Calcio talisman Antonio Di Natale scored twice to condemn ACF Fiorentina to a 3-1 reverse. Elsewhere, AS Roma suffered a 1-0 loss at Calcio Catania, and AC Milan missed the chance to leapfrog the capital club into sixth as they could only draw 0-0 at UC Sampdoria.

As for the lower echelons, Torino FC were made to work hard to see off bottom club AC Siena 3-2, before Cagliari Calcio came from behind to beat Genoa CFC 2-1.
