Juventus extended their lead at the Serie A summit to ten points as they came from behind to overcome ten-man Cagliari Calcio 3-1.
The leaders required some inspired intervention as they trailed at the interval to Mauricio Pinilla's penalty, and Alessandro Matri provided it with two goals after Davide Astori was dismissed for a second yellow card after 64 minutes.
Matri did not enter the fray until replacing Fabio Quagliarella on the hour but quickly made his mark, with the need made more pressing by Arturo Vidal's missed penalty on 72 minutes.
Matri's first was a close-range finish after Mirko Vučinić's shot was parried and he completed the turnaround in the 92nd minute when an attempted clearance ran into his path after deflecting off Vidal. Vučinić's tap-in sealed the triumph for Juventus, who on Thursday were drawn to play Celtic FC in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
The evening's other fixture also ended dramatically as Pescara Calcio climbed out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win against Calcio Catania. Eugenio Togni won it for the hosts with a sublime 95th-minute free-kick.
