SC Bastia were brushed aside by a confident Paris Saint-Germain FC, who scored four without reply in Corsica to earn their third straight win in Ligue 1.
After a sluggish start to their campaign brought three successive draws, PSG have hit their stride in recent weeks. An in-form Zlatan Ibrahimović has been central to their success, and he registered his sixth and seventh league goals of the season against Bastia – either side of Blaise Matuidi's second-half strike. The first owed much to a wonderful lifted pass from Marco Verratti. Jérémy Ménez had fired the visitors into a sixth-minute lead.
Meanwhile, there was a dramatic finish as Toulouse FC hosted Stade Rennais FC. The struggling visitors thought they had secured their second win of the campaign, Jonathan Pitroipa and Mevlüt Erdinç scoring either side of Wissam Ben Yedder's effort. Deep in added time, however, goalkeeper Ali Ahamada headed in a dramatic point for the hosts, becoming the first custodian to score a Ligue 1 goal since Grégory Wimbée in 1996.
Elsewhere, Kévin Monnet-Paquet's 89th-minute equaliser ensured FC Lorient secured a 1-1 draw with OGC Nice to remain unbeaten.
