Paris Saint-Germain FC kept alive their prospects of a first Ligue 1 title since 1994 after a routine 2-0 victory against AS Saint-Étienne moved them to within three points of leaders Montpellier Hérault SC, with three games remaining.
Buoyed by Montpellier's 2-2 draw against Évian Thonon Gaillard FC on Tuesday, the capital club had further reason to celebrate when Nenê converted a 21st-minute penalty, his 17th league goal of the season.
