AC Milan have announced the signings of midfielders Riccardo Montolivo and Bakaye Traoré on free transfers as they prepare for another UEFA Champions League campaign.
Montolivo, 27, arrives from ACF Fiorentina on a four-year deal after ending a seven-season spell with the Viola. A member of Cesare Prandelli's provisional Italy squad for UEFA EURO 2012, the former Atalanta BC playmaker has 32 caps and played 219 Serie A games.
The same age, Malian international Traoré has signed a contract until 2015 having left AS Nancy-Lorraine. Serie A runners-up Milan, who have already announced the departure of Alessandro Nesta, Filippo Inzaghi and Gennaro Gattuso, will begin the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League in the group stage.
