Rovnag Abdullayev will serve his second term as president of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) following his unanimous re-election at the association's ordinary conference in Baku.
Abdullayev, who was first elected in 2008, will continue in the role until 2016. After the election, he said: "Our main goals are improvement of the infrastructure, grassroots and education.
"I would like to thank all the people who voted for me," he added. "I wish to remind everyone that Azerbaijan will organise the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup this summer and we will try to make it of the highest quality."
The Nakhchivan-born Abdullayev, 46, studied civil engineering in Moscow and is a major businessman in Azerbaijan as well as a respected football administrator.
