Paris Saint-Germain FC responded to wins for Montpellier Hérault SC and LOSC Lille Métropole on Saturday with a narrow victory against AJ Auxerre, while Olympique Lyonnais triumphed at home to Toulouse FC.
All the goals came in the second half in Paris with the hosts forging ahead through Christophe Jallet (52) before Dennis Oliech levelled the scores (59). The capital club regained the lead through Jérémy Menez with 14 minutes remaining before Nenê scored his seventh of the campaign from the penalty spot (80) to secure maximum points. Dariusz Dudka pulled one back for the visitors three minutes from time but PSG held on to go second, three points behind Montpellier.
Bakary Koné (38), Ederson (52) and Lisandro's spot kick (66) gave Lyon a 3-0 lead against Toulouse but Les Gones were made to hang on for victory after Umut Bulut (68) and a Moussa Sissoko penalty (75) gave the visitors a lifeline. Rémi Garde's men stood firm and are now fourth, while their opponents remain sixth. Elsewhere, FC Girondins de Bordeaux ran out 2-0 winners against AS Nancy-Lorraine.
