UEFA wishes to send a message of support to the people of Turkey in the wake of the devastating earthquake in the east of the country.

The tragedy, with its loss of life and the suffering of the people who have been affected, has distressed the entire European sporting community. On behalf of the European football family, UEFA extends its heartfelt sympathy to the Turkish people, and wishes to convey its solidarity with Turkey at this time of great sorrow.
