Arsenal FC and Manchester United FC both won English League Cup fourth-round ties tonight to book quarter-final spots.
The Gunners had to come from behind against Premier League opponents Bolton Wanderers FC. Former Arsenal midfielder Fabrice Muamba put Owen Coyle's side ahead just after half-time but Andrey Arshavin levelled the tie (53) with a low drive before Park Ju-Young, on his second appearance, curled the winner in off the post three minutes later.
Manchester United travelled to fourth-tier Aldershot Town FC, where goals from Dimitar Berbatov (15), Michael Owen (41) and Antonio Valencia (48) ensured a routine win.
Premier League leaders Manchester City FC, fresh from a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, are among the teams in action on Wednesday when four more top-flight teams will advance to Saturday's draw.
