On 16 May 2012 the third UEFA Grassroots Day will take place in Munich.

In the week of the UEFA Champions League final at the the Fußball Arena München, the third UEFA Grassroots Day will take place – a celebration of grassroots football all over Europe emphasising the fact that football is open to everyone and that without a healthy grassroots game the elite level can never flourish.
