The 15th annual FIFA Fair Play Days campaign has begun – and in Europe, UEFA will join the world football body FIFA in promoting the initiative at official games via its own Respect campaign.

The campaign will take place during the official international match dates over the next few days, with UEFA EURO 2012 and UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers being played.

UEFA's Respect drive, which features prominently at UEFA competitions and events, was launched in 2008. It dovetails with programmes aimed at combating violence, racism, xenophobia and homophobia as well as fan support, intercultural dialogue, the environment and humanitarian relief.
