FC Anzhi Makhachkala have completed the signing of Hungary striker Balázs Dzsudzsák on a four-year deal from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
Dzsudzsák moves to Russia in a transfer thought to be worth around €14.5m. The 24-year-old former Debreceni VSC forward scored 44 goals in 114 Eredivisie games during his three and a half seasons at PSV, and was a key member of the side that reached the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals and finished third in the Netherlands last term.
He now joins a talented Anzhi squad who share the lead at the top of the Russian Premier-Liga with 22 points from 12 matches. "I am very happy to become part of an ambitious project at Anzhi," said Dzsudzsák. "It is a big step forward in my career. I am eagerly looking forward to getting on the pitch with my new team-mates Roberto Carlos, Mbark Boussoufa, Diego Tardelli and others. I have heard a lot about the fantastic atmosphere at home games in Makhachkala."
