Celtic FC are mourning the death of former player Willie O'Neill who has passed away at the age of 70.
O'Neill was a member of Jock Stein's famous 'Lisbon Lions' side who became the first British club to lift the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1967 when they defeated FC Internazionale Milano 2-1 in the Portuguese capital. The full-back made 86 appearances for the Hoops between 1961 and 1969, 32 of which came in the 1966/67 season when Stein's side won every competition they entered.
