The lineups for the Turkish and Bulgarian Cup finals have been decided following the conclusion of the semi-finals tonight.
Beşiktaş JK made it through to the Turkish Cup final on Wednesday, with a 2-2 draw at Gaziantepspor meaning little in the wake of the Black Eagles 3-0 first-leg triumph in Istanbul. Their opponents in the 11 May final, staged for the first time in Kayseri, will be İstanbul BB SK, who beat Gençlerbirliği SK 3-0 in Ankara this evening following a 1-1 draw in the opener a fortnight ago.
PFC CSKA Sofia will play PFC Slavia Sofia in the Bulgarian Cup final on 25 May following the conclusion of the semi-final ties. The Sofia Army Men beat runaway league leaders PFC Litex Lovech 2-1 thanks to two Spas Delev goals on Wednesday, but it took a penalty shoot-out for Slavia to see off PFC Pirin Blagoevgrad, with the final score 7-6 on spot kicks following a 1-1 draw.
