FC Santa Coloma have retained the title in Andorra after a 1-0 win against UE Santa Coloma gave the Doves their sixth championship with a match to spare.
While they finished second in the regular season behind UE Sant Julià, they hit the front in the end-of-season play-offs, and Beto Urbani's headed goal against UE Santa Coloma – his 14th strike of the season – ensured that the side coached by Salva Estruch and Juli Fernández have nothing to play for when they meet Sant Julià on the final day of the season.
The club's Andorran international midfielder Óscar Sonejee said: "This wasn't an easy season at all as our old coach [Xavi Roura] left earlier in the campaign for personal reasons. However, thanks to Salva Estruch and Juli Fernández we were able to refocus and managed to put a winning run together."
