Unai Emery will lead Valencia CF's UEFA Champions League challenge next season after agreeing terms on a one-year contract extension with the Liga side.
The 2010/11 campaign will represent the coach's third term in charge at the Mestalla, where the 38-year-old arrived after a successful spell with UD Almería. He is determined his side continue to progress. "The goal for next season is to keep growing," he said. "There are people who are expecting more from us and it's my job to convince them by winning games and making them proud of their team." Valencia host CD Tenerife in their final Liga game of the campaign this weekend but are already assured of third place.
