Manchester United FC defender Jonny Evans has signed a new four-year deal keeping him at Old Trafford until June 2014.
The Northern Irish international, 22, follows United stalwarts Gary Neville and Paul Scholes in agreeing a fresh contract.
Evans, whose previous deal had been due to expire next year, came through United's youth system and, after loan spells at R. Antwerp FC and Sunderland AFC, made his debut on 17 September 2008 in a UEFA Champions League group stage home game against Villarreal CF.
He has gone on to make 35 Premier League appearances, proving an able deputy for either Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidić, the Red Devils' first-choice centre-backs.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: "We are delighted Jonny has signed a new contract. He has risen through the United ranks to become an integral part of the first-team squad."
United go into Sunday's final day of the season trailing leaders Chelsea FC by one point as they bid to upset the odds and win a fourth consecutive English title.
