Romanian coach Ioan Andone has left PFC CSKA Sofia by mutual consent, after leading the club to only two league victories since his arrival in January, with Adalbert Zafirov taking temporary command.
Andone's six-game tenure took in two wins, three draws and a defeat. His replacement is former Bulgaria defender Zafirov, who represented CSKA and PFC Lokomotiv Sofia and won six caps for his country. The 40-year-old is the club's third coach of the season following the departures of Luboslav Penev and Andone. CSKA are third in the table, trailing leaders PFC Litex Lovech by eight points.
