Mario Balotelli kept FC Internazionale Milano on course for a domestic double by scoring a late winner which condemned Juventus to a 2-1 defeat in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
Comeback
The Serie A leaders, who will play ACF Fiorentina in the last four, were trailing until 71 minutes in the Derby d'Italia at San Siro, Diego (10) having put Juventus ahead when his shot from the edge of the penalty area squirmed through Francesco Toldo's legs. José Mourinho replaced Esteban Cambiasso with Diego Milito on the hour yet it was a defender who equalised, Lucio touching in from close range after Wesley Sneijder's free-kick had deflected towards goal off the wall. With the tie drifting towards extra time, Thiago Motta's shot was parried by Gianluigi Buffon and Balotelli (89) converted the rebound from close range.
Away goals
In the Copa del Rey, Getafe CF advanced to the last four on away goals despite a 1-0 home defeat by RCD Mallorca, Aritz Aduriz (45) heading in a left-wing corner having earlier failed from the penalty spot. Getafe, who won the first leg 2-1 last week, will play Sevilla FC in the next round. Diego Forlán secured the last semi-final berth for Club Atlético de Madrid, scoring the first-half winner at RC Celta de Vigo in a 1-0 success. A 2-1 aggregate triumph earns the capital club a tie with Real Racing Club.
